The county golf union is a volunteer organisation which exists to assist the clubs in all aspects of keeping golf alive and vibrant and to provide both inter-county and in-county competition for juniors/adults/seniors.

In this ever more complex world there is demand for more volunteers to tackle the challenges of today’s media hyped world. 

The county juniors need a PR/Media savvy volunteer

• -who can present the county juniors to the press at a rate of one event a week
• - will involve being passed information by the organiser of the event
• -writing it up,
• -passing it back to us or directly sending in to the Cambridge Evening News
• -in a form that will make it so attractive to readers they will want to publish. 
• -at the events other volunteers take photographs to go with articles.
• -role will be for a max of 1 hour a week/few hours per month
• -communicating by e-mail and no need to leave the house ! and paperless.

This would be an important volunteer position because for that short time each week the volunteer will be taking on some of the responsibility of making Cambridgeshire county golf an activity to aspire to – very self-satisfying role.

Well written articles will also assist us to attract sponsorship from corporations and individuals.
