CAGU juniors overcome Wiltshire to finish 3rd in national final!!!

Just in from Lincolnshire update from from Garry Kerr - U18 Team Manager who has been with our  team at Elsham Golf Club for the National County Boys Final

'What a day!

Fantastic team performance to record a 5-4 win over Wiltshire - including a 6&4 win for Oli Smith and Alex Mills in the foursomes.

This afternoon saw wins for Ellis Kerr, Alex Mills, Rohan Neat, and Oli Smith. Special mention to Oli who chipped in at 17th to go 1 up and held on at the last.

Well played to Tristan Evans, Lewis Karim and major mention for Hamish Carneige who whilst not playing today was a key member of the squad.

A great TEAM performance to match our third place of 2024.'

Against  opposition from three major golfing powerhouses in English junior golf and following two challenging days of intense competition, this result is a great credit to the team, the coaches, the Team Managers,  and of course our sponsors  - Kingsway, and Hevey Building Supplies
