Richard Heyes Claims CAGU Autumn Seniors Title

Richard Heyes of Girton Golf Club produced an outstanding performance to win the CAGU Autumn Seniors at the Gog Magog Old Course, posting an impressive 39 Stableford points (73 gross) despite extremely windy weather.

Heyes was presented with the John Durman Trophy by Gog Magog Men’s Captain, Mark Spears, following his well-deserved victory.

The competition saw a strong field of senior golfers from across the county battling the elements, but Heyes’ consistency and control set him apart on a demanding day.

Thank you to Gog Magog Golf Club for hosting the CAGU Autumn Seniors and for their support throughout the day, the course was presented superbly.

Thank you also to all the players who took part — your commitment and sportsmanship helped make the event a success.
